Getting to Copley Square

Public Transportation

Copley Square is located at the MBTA Green Line subway’s Copley station.   It is two blocks north of Back Bay station which is on the MBTA Orange Line, the commuter rail lines from Worcester, Framingham, Providence, and Walpole, and the Amtrak line from New York, New Haven and Providence.

From the north, take commuter rail service to North Station and the Orange Line to Back Bay.

By Car

From Route 93: Take Exit 26 to Storrow Drive. After approximately 1 mile turn left to Copley Square Exit. At the first light, turn right onto Beacon Street. Proceed 2 blocks and turn left on Clarendon Street. Follow Clarendon three blocks.

From Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90): Exit 22, Copley Square.   From Stuart Street turn left onto Dartmouth Street.    Copley Square is 1 block down on the right.

From Storrow Drive East: Exit at Clarendon Street. Follow Clarendon three blocks.

Parking: Central Parking, 10 Saint James Ave. (between Arlington St. & Berkeley St  (617) 482-6613  $14 for the whole day. The Back Bay Garage, 500 Boylston Street Garage (between Berkeley St. & Claredon St.) (617) 266-7006, $20 for 24 hours.

New Hampshire

Tickets must be purchased in advance; reserve your space by October 14th.

Pickups at:

  • Concord park and ride
  • Durham, UNH Lot A
  • Oyster River High School (tentative)
  • Portsmouth C&J, 185 Grafton Drive

Send your check for $25 to NHPA at 4 Park St. Ste. 210, Concord, NH 03301. Include your name, phone, email, address, and departure location.

The bus will leave NH in time to arrive in Boston between noon and 1:00 pm and will leave Boston immediately after the march and rally.

Maine

Maine bus departure from Boston approximately 6pm

Connecticut

We have buses available for all.  They will leave for the march at 8:30am from Central Connecticut State University from the out-door parking lot in front of the Student Center on Ella Grasso Blvd in New Britain.  Seats are $20 each.  Rides to the bus are available.

People are also organizing car-pools from various points throughout the state.
